This week my motivation got the better of me and I entered a triathlon (only 295 days to go). I’ve also done a bit of regular exercise, including some touch rugby ref-ing. Nothing hard (apart from a bit on the bike on Sunday). The aim was to exercise every day and I achieved that. This week I want to keep exercising every day, make a few of the sessions a little longer and and add a tiny bit more intensity? Why intensity? It’s more about getting a bit of practice at intensity before it becomes a regular part of my week.
At the moment, my motivation is on the low side of life. But, to be honest, that’s actually an improvement on what it has been since the end of March. I don’t know why it went and I doubt if any self-analysis that I can do will help. I am not ready to commit to any goals yet. But I think I might be soon.
