A long swim – Bridge to Bridge
The Henley Swim guys are planning a “Bridge to Bridge” swim. From Henley to Marlow. 14km.
Yes, that’s not a typo. 14k!
It’s with the stream and so it may not quite be that far really. Well it is, but, well, it will probably feel less. Actually, it will feel a long, long way. But you know what I mean.
With a wetsuit and walking around the locks and weirs it will probably take well over four hours.
That could be quite tough!
The thing I am really wondering about is whether you end up looking forward to walking barefoot around the locks or do you get to hate that by the time you get to the end?

Hi there…..we’ve managed to get the walking bit down to about 100 or so meters….it’s a nice break to ease the shoulders, so I’ve always liked it….get to talk to the locals at the same time!
