New Forest Tri – pre-race thoughts

I’m up early to race this morning.  All my kit is laying by the front door, just have to put it in my bags and go. 

So what am I trying to achieve today?  Defintely not a personal best.  I had quite a hard day yesterday and so am very tired and achy today.  What I’d like to achieve is:

– a great swim with as much drafting practice as possible

– a quick T1, in practice for Windsor – not Lanza

– a good solid run.

So my plan is:

– Swim: go hard

– Bike: go hard

– Run: go hard, and even harder at the end!

I’d better get going…
